Tech-media company VIDI has traditionally organized a contest for the most promising Croatian business software programs.
In honor of the company’s 25th anniversary, the top 25 programs have been chosen. These, along with the 25 programs to be listed at the beginning of the year, will comprise the final 50 IT solutions. Our 50UP! contest continues to inspire software developers and industry management to innovate and develop their products to offer ever more effective final products. This contest encourages new start-ups to grow and establish themselves, making them more attractive to investors and leading to higher levels of development and achievement.
Nominated software solutions were professionally and thoroughly evaluated with 17 points of criteria which were established to determine market demand for the app, user requirements and cyclical updates of the app, project management and inclusivity of the work environment, functionality, totality in the business segment which regards the leader of the project, completion of the implementation of the app for new users, innovation, openness, existing app users, profitability of the business, customer support, etc.
The ICT GOLD AWARD is an award for excellence that evaluates user satisfaction with the product and will be given at a later date in 2020. Because of that, the final score of the contest did not include a deep analysis of the category of user satisfaction. Even though companies can already turn in their software solutions, the official public contest of the next 25, which will be added on to the 25 already selected and make up the top 50 most promising Croatian software solutions for the year 2019/2020, will be published in the weekly magazine Lider and in the VIDI technology magazine.
For the purposes of the full transparency, companies can turn in their software program for free to the contest of the most promising Croatian IT business applications for the year 2019/2020-50UP!

To the same e-mail address, companies can send a request for nomination of their solution after which they will receive the application form.
The answers to the questions in the evaluation form will be used exclusively for the purposes of the contest and the final list of the 50 most promising business apps in the industry catalogue WHOisWHOinIT 2019/2020 will be also written in the English language.
